#StyleDiaries: Day two: Neha Dhupia for Kingfisher Supermodel Hunt

 Kingfisher Supermodel Hunt Day two:

Girl gone glam

The shooting so far has been hectic, with Neha having to run at a moment’s notice from one set to the next.

To make things easy for her (while keeping the glam gun tuned at SEXAY) I dressed her in a borrowed-from-the-boys outfit that will require minimum maintenance between takes.

The simple white tee and black pants combo is transformed into a chic but non-fussy dream by adding a statement necklace and structured sleeveless blazer.

The outfit allows Neha to host the event but also be comfortable on-the-go. This golf cart she learned to drive by herself. I’m taking lessons today. Taj Resorts: watch out!
Stylist’s tip: Don’t ever (EVER) discount the awesomeness that is a simple white front-pocket tee-shirt.

Makeup tip: smudged kohl liner and oodles of mascara will pick up any look. Contrast the heavy eye makeup with clean swept back hair. This will also go with the outfit’s clean lines and minimal vibe.

Neha’s pants are by GStar Raw; her sleeveless blazer is H&M; the all important tee is (always) Zara; and the necklace is Forever 21. The shoes are Tahari.

Evening look

Princess on the go

If you’ve spent all day running about in the heat and grime, wouldn’t you also like to glam it up for the evening? Yea, you would. Yea, she did.

But I’ll let you in on a stylist’s secret: The skirt stands up because it’s flouncy and embellished, but it’s as comfortable as wearing a pair of pyjamas. Sit however you like, jump around: this skirt’s gotcha back.

night -1

Stylist’s tip: Don’t fight the flounce. Pair big skirts with preppy tee shirts because: who doesn’t want to look like a princess on the go?

Makeup tip: The skirt’s got all the embellishment you’ll ever need, so go natural on the makeup. Pair smokey eyes with nude lips and just-out-of-bed hair. Are you dressed up or did you just throw this on last minute? Keep them guessing.

Neha’s skirt is by Falguni and Shane Peacock; her accessories by Amrapali.

She looks great, right? Now here is me at 2 am because her prettiness keeps me up at all hours of the night, literally!
All looks are styled by Chief pyjama aka Sohaya Misra aka Chola the Bhola. Makeup is done by Angeline Joseph.
