I don’t do winter. Onwards to spring!

Image-1-4

 1. The Over thinker

Whatever your thinking, think bigger!

You’ve got way too much on your mind already, your clothes don’t need to add any stress. Actually, they need to do what you should be doing — hanging loose. Real loose.

Chloe gives a pretty good class on this:

And Claudia Li, and I definitely got the goods to help you chill:

You know who else brings all the girls to yard..ok, mall…ok, ok… website. These stunners available at Amazon.in and Zara are a perfect beginners kit into this SS2016 trend. We call dibs on this one!

2. Glitterbug

Eat glitter for breakfast, lunch, and dinner!

Shine on, you crazy diamond! But, remember… diamond, not disco ball. Ok?

The sexy Paco Rabbane takes this trend to town like a millionaire playgirl at a 5 am underground techno rave! *Love*

These looks from Les Copains, Antonio Marras, Aquilano.Rimondi, Roberto Cavalli (L-R) definitely want to make me dive deep into a pool of metallic and sequins!

On a budget? Aren’t we all. Call me Santa, ’cause I hunted through ASOS and Zara to help you get your shine on.

3. The Wild One

Be bold, be brave; be you.

Colours are making a comeback, and it’s about time. Kiss that everyday black and white look goodbye (not forever, just for a few days) and add some pop to your wardrobe for Spring 2016.

You know who always knew this? Lavin.

Fashion colours lives up to its name:

And, as per usj, Stella McCartney is on point:

And so is this bold little number from Zara.

The Wild Ones are cut from many clothes and come in all sorts of variations.

Sub-trends include:

4. The Pop Queen

Be a pop of colour in a black and white world!

Yup, colours are going places and making print. These are fine examples by Gucci and Paris Street. The pant suit is to-die-for… or a reason to live (the latter is better!)

This ASOS dress follows the pattern.

5. Holi Zebra!

Go boldly where no one has been before!

This trend has already trickled down to the high street hotspots. So here’s a fun House of Holland dress to get you started.

6. The Angel

She makes broken look beautiful.

I don’t know about about you, but for me, a  woman’s shoulder has a magical quality to it. Somehow, it manages to express timelessness and vulnerability all at once. And, you know what? Wear your heart on your sleeve. Well, in this case on your shoulder kinda like Captain Jack’s Parrot. Better to give #AllFucks than none, that’s my motto.

Again, Prabal Gurung captures the mood perfectly:

I also love these minimalist romantic pieces I spotted from NY Fashion Week:

And I mean, when has Givenchy done anything not on point? Never!

7. Great Genes

Find the right denim and everything just fits together perfectly

Gotta have it, can’t live without it; gotta have them jeans.

Our favourite high street rebooted denim is this Neon Rose belted denim jacket.

8. Fringe Binge

The tassel is worth the hassle.

It just makes everything so much more fun!

This trend and beachwear just go together like this trend and beach wear. Check out this bikini and coverup I found for you guys!

9. The Romantic

Be a hopeless romantic… with a dirty mind!

Cry us a river, croon us a song. Life may not be a box of chocolates, but we’re up for playing along.

Can’t get rid of that inner romantic.

These are great examples of the look:

This Zara dress and ASOS Kimono style maxi will have you swooning over them at first sight.

10. The Pyjama Person

Everything is better in your pyjamas

We’ve been saying it all along and now it’s all over the ramp. Dress up those pyjamas and take them on a night out in town

I say get deep into this trend, so the next time Mum says, “Are you really going out in those? They look like your pyjamas!” You can show her a picture of her favourite actor painting the town red in her set. Do it now, here are my Zara picks for this look: wide pleated trousers and checked pants.

You’ve got a pretty comprehensive list now. Plan ahead (or simply use shopping to escape your winter blues… that’s what I would do.)
