Sisterhood of travelling pyjamas: There’s a crazy little place I know

Down in Mexico (city)

Day 1, beer won!

What’s the first thing I do upon landing into beautiful Mexico city?

Get myself a Colimita, of course. This craft brew claims to be “the beer from the earth and favorite of the sun.” It’s definitely a darn good lager!

Next up… where there is Aniseed, there is FOOOOD!

The trendy Condessa area in Mexico city is teeming with great places to eat. This lovely Mediterranean restaurant’s menu really hit the spot.

There’s Pulpo la plancha (grilled octopus) with chorizo & Chickpeas Buttery sweet San daniele ham being sliced for me and then the plate of it. Nice local lager beer Pizza with caramelised onions, pecorino & black olives. Can anyone say foodporn?

No meal is complete with dessert! I love Mexico city candy (ok, all candy regardless of nationality.)

Keep calm and eat candy .. #mexicocity #InstaTakeover #pyjamapeopleXaniseed #travelingpyjamas #travelogue @aniseeed

Day 2, some crazy art for me and you

At the Fifty 24MX Gallery. A super dope Japanese artist who lives in Mexico was exhibiting his work at the time. Doesn’t the dual influence of the East and Latina really show in his art? It gets very psychedelic. His name is Kenta Torii Mugen.

Day three, surrounded by psychedelic mother Marys

Craft Heaven aka Mercado De Cuidadela, a traditional style market that specialises in the selling of Mexican folk art. Definitely worth checking out when you visit.

Day four, sad to have to go!
Hasta luego Mexico City, we will most definitely meet again! Everyone here are warm and welcoming. The food, culture, architecture, and of course the people – real, colourful and incredible!

I’m really enjoying the design and layout of your website.

It’s a very easy on the eyes which makes it much more pleasant for me
to come here and visit more often. Did you hire out a developer to create your theme?
    Outstanding work!
