It would seem Textile Minister Smriti Irani has finally hit one outta the park on social media! Her #IWearHandloom hashtag, which is supposed to showcase the work of Indian weavers, is trending big time on Twitter. And, to boot, influencers and celebrities from all walks of life have come out in support and love for Khadi, cottons and other hand-spun fabrics that are native to India. Looks like Irani just broke the Internet and just in time for Sunday’s National Handloom Day too!
