A Quiet Place Part II: Ryan Reynolds Won’t Shut Up About How Much He Loved John Krasinski’s Horror Movie

Hollywood actor Ryan Reynolds watched A Quiet Place Part II and loved it. He took to Twitter to share his appreciation for the film and joked that he “won’t shut up about how good the film was”. Reynolds’ tweet read: “My friend @johnkrasinski can try to silence me all he wants, but I won’t shut up about how good the second @quietplacemovie is. I won’t shout it though. That would be inappropriate.”

My friend @johnkrasinski may try to silence me all he wants, but I won’t shut up about how good the second @quietplacemovie is. I won’t shout it though. That would be indecent.

Krasinski returns as director in the sequel. Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds and Noah Jupe reprise their roles from the previous film. Since Krasinski’s character died in the first film, this time he only returns in flashback scenes. Cillian Murphy and Djimon Hounsou joined the franchise with the sequel.

The film has received very positive reviews. It has a 90 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes. The critical consensus reads: “A nerve-racking sequel to its predecessor, A Quiet Place Part II expands the franchise’s terrifying world without losing heart.”

Krasinski and Blunt played the Abbotts in the original film, a couple trying hard to survive in a world with their children where they can’t make a sound beyond whispers for fear of blind alien monsters that are extremely sensitive to sound. At the end of the film, Krasinski’s character Lee sacrifices himself to save his family.

A Quiet Place Part II was released in the US on May 28.
