What is the plot of Cowboy bebop?
In 2071, most of humanity settled on the rocky planets and moons of the solar system. About fifty years earlier, Earth had become uninhabitable after a hyperspace gateway accident. Amid the rising crime rate across the solar system, the Inter Solar System Police legalize bounty hunters. Known as “cowboys”, they hunt criminals across the solar system and bring them to justice.
The crew of the spaceship Bebop is on the hunt for these criminals. Spike Siegal, former hit man and exiled member of the Red Dragon Syndicate and his partner Jet Black, a former ISSP officer. Amnesiac cheater Faye Valentine, Edward Wong, the eccentric hacker girl and finally Ein, the genetically engineered adorable Welsh corgi with human-like intelligence.
In January 2020, when promoting a new horror movie (The resentment), John Cho had a lot to say about what to expect from the upcoming live action Cowboy bebop Series.
Cho described the series as a “unique piece of material” and that it had to “stay weird” throughout to stay true to the source material.
“We have to keep it weird.”

Rumors had spread on a bebop blog that a husky was being cast as an A rather than a Welsh Corgi.
According to the Bebop blog, a spokesman for Netflix has commented on changing dog breeds for Ein:
“Nothing in the story says one has to be a corgi and frankly a reboot that closely mimics the source material is boring. We have already seen this story. “
The answer to the question about a possible fan backlash was very intriguing:
“Just like the genre the show is named after, sometimes it’s better to do the unexpected that has never been done before. This is the Bebop ethos and we stay true to it. We are confident that real fans of the show will accept this decision. “
The “statement” given was most likely falsified for several reasons. First of all, using the phrase “real fans” is a way to really excite the fan base. The last thing you want to do is question a fan base’s love of this franchise in particular.
Second, writer and executive producer Christoper Yost confirmed the rumors on Twitter and cleared up any confusion about Ein’s race.
in the nearly three years i have worked on it, there has never been a day that was anything other than a welsh corgi. #Cowboy Bebop

In May 2020, Marty Adelstein raised the idea that a new Netflix series would be whitewashed, saying:
“Because of all of these anime films that have come out that are being accused of being whitewashed, we really went out of our way. We have the original composer, Yoko Kanno, who makes music. The characters are all kind of multi-ethnic and it’s a great cast. And the two episodes I saw are so much fun. It is really fun.”
In July 2020, in addition to the production updates (see below), Daniel Richtman announced that they currently occupy Gren.
The casting grid says the following:
“This character is non-binary, genderqueer, intersex, transmasculine, and / or third gender in their thirties. You are the bartender in Ana’s nightclub and Ana’s right-hand man. As capable with a saxophone as a Glock, as confident in a dress as a suit, Gren is a Bowie-esque embodiment of the beautiful beauty of the 22nd third gender are encouraged to submit.) “
