Fate: The Winx Saga is a Netflix Original Teen Fantasy Drama Series based on the hugely popular animated series Winx Club. Created by Brian Young, directing was split between three directors, Lisa James Larsson, Hannah Quinn and Stephen Woolfenden. The series is a collaboration between Archery Pictures, Rainbow SpA and Young Blood Productions.

Since its release on Christmas Day Bridgerton is firmly established on television in several regions of the world, most notably the United States. The series that finally canceled the time drama was Fate: The Winx Saga on January 23rd. It must be noted that the reign of the original at the top lasted only eight days before going from. has been discontinued Bridgerton.
We reported about it in June 2020 Fate: The Winx Saga had been renewed on the side Ozark and Warrior nun.
What about the series controversy?
With a franchise as popular as Winx Club, of course, every live-action adaptation is subject to some scrutiny.
Aside from the quality of the series, the biggest controversy the show has faced has been the casting decisions. In particular, the character of Musa, whose character design was inspired by the Chinese-American actress Lucy Lui, was not given to an actress of Asian descent, but Emily Applebaum was cast.
Fans continued to struggle with the character of Flora being dumped by Terra Harvey in favor of Eliot Salt’s character. Though Flora’s potential season two debut has been teased by Salt (and we can confirm this shortly).
These “controversies” were by no means a reason to break off the series.
New characters for Fate: The Winx Saga Season 2
We’re excited to announce that Season 2 will introduce at least three new characters, including:
- flora – Described as an earth fairy like her cousin Terra, who has a casual nature but hides a dark secret. You are casting a Hispanic woman for this role.
- Sebastian – It appears that Sebastian will switch to the Netflix series in Season 2 of World of Winx. Described as a student with a brilliant mind but questionable morals.
- Gray – We couldn’t find a reference to Gray from the original cartoon series (correct us if we’re wrong). This character is said to be a transgender man who is described as a specialist with a secret (everyone hides secrets in season 2!). In addition, he will enter into a relationship with Aisha in season 2, which he receives with his “charismatic charms”.
Where is Fate: the Winx Saga season 2 in production?
Current production status: Pre-production (as of: 06.09.2021)
We knew that production should start later this year, however we were told that the current schedule (which can always change) is currently scheduled between mid-July 2021 and November 2021 with re-filming taking place in Dublin, Ireland.
We were also told that this season has been expanded to 7 episodes, but we are waiting for confirmation on that.
When could we expect to see? Fate: The Winx Saga Season 2 on Netflix?
It could be a considerable time before the series returns to Netflix. Filming for the series took place in September 2019 and ended after a few months on December 13, 2019. It then took thirteen months for the series to make its debut.
Given the production schedule outlined above, we expect it to be released in mid-to-late 2022.
What can you expect in the second season of Fate: The Winx Saga?
Bloom’s powers are getting stronger
In her dramatic battle with the Scorched, Bloom was able to sprout her own wings and was the first fairy to do so in many years. By using her wings, Bloom can tap even more powerful magic, especially ancient magic that even the staff at Alfea College cannot tap.
When her new powers are unlocked, Bloom will only get stronger. The source of Bloom’s power is the Dragon Flame, and if she can control it, she can potentially remove the burned for good.
It can take Bloom some time to learn to control her powers as she soon collapsed from exhaustion the first time her wings were activated.
Will more fairies sprout wings?
With Bloom being the first to sprout wings, it might not be long before the other fairies learn to do the same. Aside from being an extremely powerful fairy, we still don’t know why her wings were activated, but if she can figure out the key to this ability, other fairies can learn the ancient magic.
Rosalind takes over Alfea College
With the help of the Queen of Solaria, Rosalind killed Farah Dowling. With her return as headmistress, it is clear that she will use her authority to keep pushing Bloom to unleash more of her powers. With a war looming over Alfea, Rosalind will likely take this opportunity to encourage the students to become even stronger and possibly turn them into soldiers who will fight in the coming war.
