Gone Girl and Cocktail actor Lisa Banes remained in hospital in critical condition Saturday night after being injured in a collision accident in New York City, her manager said.
Banes, 65, was hit by a scooter or motorcycle on Friday night in Manhattan’s Upper West Side near Lincoln Center as she crossed Amsterdam Avenue on her way to Julliard School, her alma mater, manager David Williams said in an email to The Associated Press.
Williams said Banes was being treated at Mount Sinai Morningside Hospital for “significant injuries”.
Police declined to name the victim of the hit-and-run, and no arrests have been announced.
Banes has appeared in numerous TV shows and films, including supporting roles in Gone Girl with Ben Affleck in 2014 and Cocktail with Tom Cruise in 1988. On television, she had roles in Nashville, Madam Secretary, Masters of Sex and NCIS.
