Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actor Dilip Joshi has dismissed reports that there is an ongoing feud between him and his on-screen son and artist Raj Anadkat, while speaking to SpotBoyE.
Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is known for his story and the crackling chemistry the on-screen cast shares. Therefore, it came as a surprise to many that things were not going well between Jethalal and his son Tapu. According to several reports, Raj Anadkat had his senior co-star wait for him for almost an hour on the sets, sparking the alleged conflict.
Dilip responded to SpotBoyE with a simple but firm: “Absolute nonsense. Who makes up all these false stories? “
The show has also been in the news after one of its actors, Munmun Dutta, was booked for allegedly saying a casteist. The inappropriate word was uttered by Munmun during a social media makeup video. The clip has since gone viral, and many are calling out to the actor for the derogatory comment.
Munmun, on the other hand, had apologized for the said comment, stating that it was an unintentional blunder that occurred due to problems with the ‘language barrier’. It has been booked under IPC Sections 295 (A) (Willful and Malicious Acts, Intended to Outrage Religious Feelings of any Class by Offending its Religion or Religious Beliefs) and Section 3 of the Prevention of Atrocities against SC / ST Act .
