A new trailer of Jungle Cruise, starring Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt, was released Thursday. The fantasy adventure movie is based on the Disneyland theme park ride of the same name.
The action-packed trailer gives a taste of the adventure Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt, who play Frank and Lily, take as they travel to the Amazon jungle to find the Tree of Life. While Frank is a clever riverboat captain, Lily is a scientist in search of a tree with unparalleled healing powers. Its goal is to change the future of medicine. In the quest, she hires Frank’s services to escort her downstream on his dilapidated boat called La Quila.
Lily’s younger brother McGregor, played by Jack Whitehall, gives them company, or rather, to be drawn into the journey.
During the journey, the trio faces innumerable dangers and supernatural powers, as everything seems cursed. From the animals to sculptures, she wants to kill every element. Will they survive the attacks and manage to grab the magical cure from the tree is at the heart of the plot.
