Kangana Ranaut visits Golden Temple for the first time, says ‘speechless and stunned by its beauty, divinity’

Actor Kangana Ranaut has said she was stunned during her first visit to the Golden Temple in Amritsar with her family. The Thalaivi star took to her official Instagram handle on Monday and shared her divine experience of visiting the religious site in the state of Punjab.

Kangana posted two clicks with her nephew along with some photos in her Instagram stories. Kangana shared how she never got a chance to pay tribute to the place despite her family visiting it before, Kangana wrote in her caption which read: “Today I visited Sri Harmandir Sahib Golden Temple even though I grew up in the north and almost everyone in my family has visited the temple many times, just for me it was the first time….speechless and stunned by the beauty and divinity of the Golden Temple…”

Kangana is currently spending some time with the family at her home in Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. She has uploaded many clicks from her stay there and her life away from the arc lights.

Kangana Ranaut also posted clicks of planting 20 trees in the aftermath of Cyclone Tauktae which, she says, saw Mumbai lose more than 70 percent of its trees and Gujarat with more than 50,000 uprooted.

After recently recovering from Covid-19, Kangana shared five lessons from the pandemic, including a dig at celebrities who fundraisers have begun to contribute to the relief effort.

“The thought of the day may be complex or too evolved for few, but some will understand. Lessons from the pandemic 1) No one is insignificant, everyone can help, but it is important to recognize your place, role and influence in society 2) Don’t beg poor people for money when you are rich,” she wrote in her note. On the work front, Kangana Ranaut will play the role of actor-politician J Jayalalithaa in her biopic Thalaivi, which will be released once the second wave of Covid-19 subsides.
