For their father’s birthday, the family members enjoyed a special dinner, which is why Kristen also posted a selfie with him on the occasion of the day.

In the caption, the actress wrote: “I saw my parents for the first time in over a year. It was my dad’s birthday so we invited him for a nice dinner and he told me that he didn’t have to take off his mask for the pictures I wanted because it was his birthday. I get my stubbornness from him. Happy birthday dad. I am so glad that you are mine. “

Kristen Bell and her family obviously took the pandemic very seriously and spoke about it in an interview with ET last summer.

More specifically, she also talked about how she and her husband and fellow actor Dax Shepard dealt with homeschooling their boys.

“Homeschooling still sucks. I’m not going to gloss it over … the kids, we dyed their hair last week. Coloring my hair was one of the funniest things in quarantine, ”she admitted at the time.

She also mentioned, “We have a 5 year old and a 7 year old, so we had a couple of near stab situations. We definitely had to move the scissors too because one of our daughters cut her bangs more than a couple of times. ‘
