The baby was apparently born on June 4th and is called Lilibet ‘Lili’ Diana.

Her first name pays homage to Queen Elizabeth as it is one of her nicknames.

The middle name was quite obviously chosen to honor Prince Harry’s late mother, Princess Diana.

A few days after they became a family of four, Meghan and Harry made a sweet announcement on their Archewell Foundation website.

“On June 4th we were blessed with the arrival of our daughter Lili. It is more than we could ever have imagined and we remain grateful for all the love and prayers we have felt from around the world. Thank you for your kindness and support in this special time for our family.

Additionally, a congratulatory statement from the rest of the royals was shared through Buckingham Palace.

It states: “The Queen, the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been informed” [about the birth] and they are happy to hear the news of their daughter’s birth for The Duke and Duchess of Sussex. We are all excited about the good news of the arrival of Baby Lili. Congratulations to Harry, Meghan and Archie. ‘

Harry and Meghan had previously announced that they were expecting a second child on Valentine’s Day this year.

The news was even more gratifying for her as Meghan had recently suffered a miscarriage. Congratulations to the happy parents!
