One of the first licensed titles for Netflix US was unveiled with the Australian fantasy series The Bureau of Magical Things, due to be released on July 1st. Here’s what you need to know.
First broadcast in July 2018 on the Australian television station Eleven, The office of magical things Eventually got to the States via Nickelodeon (although it moved to TeenNick halfway through airing), but now it will go entirely to Netflix on July 1, 2021.
Currently, only Netflix US will receive the show, although other regions could be included later.
Season 1 consists of 20 episodes and tells the story of a young girl who is thrust into the magical world after discovering that she has powers. A threat arises in this new magical world and it is up to her to unite the fairies, elves and humans.
Kimie Tsukakoshi, Elizabeth Cullen and Julian Cullen, Mia Milnes, Rainbow Wedell and Jamie Carter are the leading actors.
The show currently has a 6.7 / 10 on IMDb and the show itself is from the same production company as Mako mermaidswho have favourited Netflix Original Children’s Series.

The good news is that a second season is on the way as well, and while the distribution is initially expected to feature Nickelodeon again, that doesn’t mean Netflix isn’t adding the show further back.
It joins Netflix while the streamer expanded its kids and family lineup with key licenses from Nickelodeon last year, as well as building its own list of originals.
