The online mode of Ubisoft’s Watch Dogs Legion is set to launch on March 9, 2021. The French video game maker made the announcement via Twitter. The online mode comes as a free update to all players on PC (Epic Games Store, Ubisoft Store) and Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Google Stadia and the developers own game subscription service Ubisoft+.

The online mode brings a number of multiplayer modes to the game, which include open world co-op and Tactical Ops. It will also add some PvP deathmatch action for up to 8 players.
In Watch Dogs: Legion, you play as a member of The Resistance, a group that is trying to take back the city of London from the oppression of several powerful groups. There are four of them: Organised Crime, The Futurists, Private Military and S.I.R.S. There are three ways you can play the game: hack London’s tech infrastructure with the help of drones and bots, commence assault with the weapons at your disposal or use stealth methods like an AR invisibility cloak. You can play as anyone from the entire London population in the game.
