Kannada star Yash has announced that he will donate Rs 1.5 crore of his earnings to 3000 members of the Kannada film industry. The KGF actor shared in a statement that he will deposit Rs 5000 each in members’ personal accounts.
Yash made the announcement on his Twitter account with the caption, “#togetherwestand #humanity.”

Yash’s statement reads: “Covid 19 has proven to be an invisible enemy that has dismantled the livelihoods of countless people in our country. Our own Kannada Film fraternity has also been hit hard. In light of the dire times we live in, to each of the 3,000 odd members, including all 21 branches of our film fraternity, I will donate Rs 5,000 from my earnings to their personal accounts. “
“While I am well aware that this may not serve as a solution to the loss and pain caused by the situation we are in, it is a ray of hope, as it is HOPE that the certainty of it. faith is, the faith of better times, ”the note ended.
On the work front, Yash is looking forward to the release of KGF 2, which will also feature Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon and Prakash Raj. Directed by Prashanth Neel, the Kannada movie will also be released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam. The film will be released in July 2021.
